Although the Heavy was actually the first to hit the frontline, AHQ intends the Light form to overtake the Heavy in terms of numbers, given its lower cost and greater practicality. .

The Brazil and India are the UCM's Light Battle Mechs. These massive quadrupeds sit low to the ground, granting a modicum of cover for their large frame as well as ensuring that even if all legs are destroyed, they are merely immobilised.

Optimised for anti-behemoth roles, the Brazil carries a pair of UMH-2 Mass Drivers. While smaller than the main weapons on the America, they are much more practical and still able to take on the toughest of armour. On two of its legs are UM-88B chainguns for anti-air defence. The India trades out the large Mass Drivers for a set of 4 UMH-19 Flak Cannons. These weapons can make incredibly short work of enemy aircraft and are still large enough to threaten ground based armour.

The Vulture has proven a reliable platform for the UCM, as more and more roll off the assembly lines, new variants are being created to fill potential niche's in combat doctrine. A pair of new aerial IFV's are currently being tested in both scout, and combat varieties.

Vultures Gunships come armed with two Twin Cannons, identical to the variants mounted on the Katana light tank, this gives the gunship respectable anti-tank firepower. The optional AA Battery gives the Vulture further versatility, allowing it to take on other aircraft. Alternatively, this kit can be assembled to make the Buzzard Aerial Target Craft, it loses out on one twin cannon, however is now a scouting vehicle. This gives it great versatility, allowing it to spot for units firing indirectly, as well as extend your commander's sphere of influence.

Both of these variants are set on the Vulture ship chassis, giving it good durability and high speed. It is also able to transport two troop units, allowing for high response board control.

The Sarpedon class has been observed on multiple occasions at the head of so-called 'Javelin' strikes - lightning assaults on certain, enigmatic surface positions before rapid and unexplained retreats. Some suggest that limited ammunition payload may explain this, but senior operatives of the Office of Naval Intelligence suspect that's just wishful thinking.

Following the same design ethos as their dreadnoughts, all of the Sarpedon battleship’s main weapons are energy-based. Firstly, a linked pair of Meganova lasers provide superlative ship-slicing capability - even another battleship may be crippled by a single, sustained burn. Secondly, two hull-mounted multi-lance lasers can bracket and pulverise smaller ships with frightening ease.

The Kairos class has only just been observed in combat, and it’s superstructure suggests it is part of the Grand Fleet’s new family of battleships. The Kairos forgoes the Meganova lasers in favour of additional drives for a massive increase in combat speed. It uses battleship-grade munitions which can inflict crippling damage to any target. Once in the fray, the class’ hull-mounted multi-lance lasers can mop up any escort vessels fleeing the flaming wreck of the Kairos’ latest victim.

The Rhadamanthus has been operating since just prior to the opening salvos of the Battle For Earth. Unlike the other vessels, the Rhadamanthus uses the PHR’s older power core structure, most likely because it was rushed into service. Augmenting the fearsome neutron missiles with even more close action weaponry, this is the PHR’s most aggressive battleship, since these weapon’s low power consumption allow it to achieve the same blistering thrust as the Kairos.

Unlike the familiar Platinum class, the Gold is a far more aggressive vessel. As one of the Shaltari's premier assets the Gold is a worthy chariot for the mightiest of attack-oriented Starchiefs.

The Gold class Supercarrier is relatively new and rarely seen. Mounted upfront is the powerful, close-action microwave arrays of its sister classes. Armed with the Ion Cannonade, the Gold is a terror to almost any vessel, and that’s before its swarms of formidable Shaltari bombers strike.

Although many Shaltari ships can be considered unusual, the Bronze class battleship is especially so. At the prow, it mounts the fearsome Ion Cannonade. On the ship’s back, it mounts a Gravitic Beamer. While damaging enough on a basic level, this weapon’s real threat comes from its effectiveness against ships in atmosphere and its tendency to literally shove ships forward, often into unfortunate places. Lastly, the ship mounts twin broadside crescents of microwave emitters for close-in killing power.

Closely related to the Bronze, the Silver class battleship also features a broadside microwave array and a prow-mounted Gravitic Beamer, but replaces the Ion Cannonade with the spectacular Obliterator Cannon. These generate a cracking flow of unstable, rare particles, then channels them through a small emitter nozzle at the unfortunate target. For a Shaltari weapon, It is uncharacteristically random in its destructive power.

The fight against the darkness and the things that haunt it is never ending. Most of the soldiers marching to battle in Westeros' wars are men. Many people feel that a woman's place is back home, running things there. This ‘lobstrosity’ has been Blessed by the Ocean and is known as the Killer Claw among his shipmates. With a form more suited to life at sea, specifically a pirate's life at sea, with his armoured frame, snapping claws and great strength, Renishi can hold a flank (Or a Deck) against all foes. Any who dare attack him are often left blooded and at the mercy of the sharks, the Jung's other fearsome sailors.

The typhoon season around Jwar produces startling and destructive weather, with high winds destroying all in its path. Whole villages and entire fleets have been known to disappear when these tempests prowl the land and sea. The storms draw their power and fury from the ocean, eventually dying out the further they travel inland, but even this brief time of landfall is one of terror and despair.

Similar to the storm this Kami embodies, its time here will be short. Animists from the Temple of Ro-Kan usually summon this Kami to teach the unsui the ways of air, but it can also be used for its destructive nature against attacking enemies. It can scatter enemy warbands to the four winds leaving a well-orchestrated attack or ambush out of position and in complete disarray.

Only some mercenaries last long unless they have prodigious skills to offer. Atsunobu has excellent swordsmanship skills and is a veteran of many battles, fighting to the bitter end regardless of the enemy. The Shiho, shoring up an army lacking in experienced fighters, are hiring sellswords and ronin from beyond Jwar, paying them with purloined Takashi Silvermoons so fresh they are still dripping in blood.

Atsonubo cares not about whence the coins come, be it Takashi, borrowed from the Silvermoon Trade Syndicate, or, as some of the rumours suggest, donated to the Shiho by the Syndicate to effect a change in the way of things…

Kinshi and Rokan players have been waiting a long time for this model. Indeed, it was first written in 2015! Kinshi Players will know it has many synergies with various Kinshi models, including

replacing the Husk when killed. It can also accelerate the collection of Void Counters.

In a Rokan Warband, it helps keep Monks topped up on Ki. For both Factions, the Kami can steal Ki Tokens from the enemy, hampering their ability to use their abilities. Doing this at both melee and ranged attacks gives this Kami many options and is a must-buy for Righteous Warriors players.

Despite his inexperience, he is a Buto of unquestionable worth. Even though he has a confident presence and intimidation factor, his apprenticeship with Brother Zandaka has raised eyebrows among the Three Moons hierarchy of the Silvermoon Trade Syndicate. When seen together, most assume Zandaka to be the negotiator and Lama’a the muscle; actually, Lama’a is often just the distraction, and Brother Zendaka is the threat. We all know just how much the Silvermoon loves threat and distraction!  Lama’a has the power to wield his fearsome Sasumata alongside his Jumo training to devastating effect while being able to soak up punishment that would kill a rhino in the fighting pits of Jima.

Struck down by a young and inexperienced Takashi ashigaru during the war against the Shiho, this spectral maiden now haunts the swamps of Sagoya wailing and lamenting her and her family's untimely deaths. Not even death has set her free from her earthly pain and suffering, and so she does everything in her fell power to bring wrack and ruin to all who are unfortunate to encounter her. This ghost now haunts a Yokai Maiden feeding on fear and haunting the places where it is most felt as if she were mysteriously drawn to it. She is as cursed as the city from which she emanates.

James Spigot reeled across the deck, feeling that what he saw wouldn’t be out of place in a penny dreadful. Strange saucer shapes soared through the sky, unleashing beams of light that carved through the Crown frigates like a hot knife through butter. James was thankful that his large battleship was protected by the combined power of their Guardian generators, the vessels on the outskirts of the fighting had no such security. The smaller of the saucers seemed to have an almost unnatural agility, able to twist and turn, finding new targets before the Crown naval vessels could react. Some launched fighters that were even now buzzing around far above his head. Ordinary Seaman Spigot saw one of the larger disc shaped flyers approach, only now appreciating its size comparative to his own craft. Without warning a bright ray of energy, tinged with green, burned into the Guardian shield above him. The fighters exploded like fireworks rippling through the Guardian field and overloading it. The noise of combat in the Ordinary Seaman’s ears was now deafening, no longer blunted by the Guardian field. The last thing James Spigot saw were dozens of metallic spheres, falling from a hatch in the bottom of the larger saucer. The last thing he did was pray.

"While our discoveries of Sturginium and its uses has ushered in a time of scientific marvels, unrecognisable to those of previous generations, there has also been a recent resurgence of older designs but with vastly more powerful results. Reports of a projectile impacting on the hull of an enemy vessel and then being hauled in to spin the target to a less desirable facing are troubling and interesting in equal measure. I propose we explore ideas like this further. Imagine the untapped potential we already have in our history. Imagine a trebuchet with a thousand times its previously registered force, Da Vinci’s designs made real or Greek Fire made on an industrial scale."
