Pagan: Fate of Roanoke by Kasper Kjær Christiansen and Kåre Werner Storgaard is an expandable deduction card driven game set in a fictional colonial America of 1587. The essence of the asymmetrical game is the Witch's struggle against the Witch hunter.
As the Witch strives to complete the ritual, the Hunter tries to track her down and find out her true identity. The players use 50-card decks with cards unique to their side and use different resources to win. Many tactics and strategies are possible and necessary to survive in this fight between the two powers.
Furthermore, in the first Expansion, Pagan: Beyond the Palisades, the game is taking up in speed and expertise, challenging the players to use all their wits with the Gloom-mechanic.
Emerging from the dark, stylized artworks of illustrator Maren Gutt, the imagined story of the lost colony of Roanoke comes to life.
