  • As Daenerys Targaryen sweeps across Essos with her Dothraki army, she has been freeing thousands of slaves as she defeats those that stand against her. It was not originally her intention to have them join her army, but many have willingly taken up arms and are eager to help their liberators conquer more territory. However, this rag-tag group of fighters aren’t officially outfitted or trained. They carry simple farming implements turned into arms. They are clad in nothing but the rags on their backs. However, they can still turn the tide of a battle if placed where needed at the right time. The Freedmen unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives House Targaryen players a new option for their forces. While the Freedmen aren’t the strongest fighters on the field, they are able to plug gaps in battle lines and hold back enemies hopefully long enough for more seasoned and better equipped fighters to help them out. When seconds matter in a battle, the Freedmen can give House Targaryen the time they need.

  • The Navy of the Celestian Empire is the brainchild of Empress Shinzua, who as Speaker of the fleets quickly moved to control all aspects of nautical warfare in addition to her originally more prosaic areas of responsibility. The Empire is considered a global naval power, especially after their victories at Tsushima and Myeongnyang during the Anglo-Russian Korean Expedition. All of the coastal nations of the Empire design, build and crew their own sea-going vessels, but all ultimately serve the Blazing Sun. Warships are a source of great pride within the Empire, and the expansion of their borders necessitates deploying them more visibly, something that has been welcomed by the Empire's Admiralty.

The warships of China are the most numerous in the Empire's navy. Their prow mounted chemical flame cannons, known as Huoqiang, make them formidable in any conflict and Chinese ships form the core of most of the Empire's Battlefleets. The cruisers of the Chinese mount the deadly Huoqiang along with a mix of heavy guns and rockets. The crews of the Shanghai frigates are extensively drilled in working in large squadrons and can coordinate attacks with devastating effect. With the glut of manpower at its command, China's shipyards are capable of churning out large numbers of cruisers and frigates giving it dominance in naval affairs countered only by the elite vessels of Japan.

    The Empire Frontline Squadrons kit builds seven multi-part plastic and resin miniatures;

    • 2x Jian Class Cruisers: Each Cruiser can alternatively be built as either Dao, Meru or Wusong Class
    • 4x Shanghai Class Frigates

Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.

  • The colossus that is the Commonwealth is able to draw on the massive resources available to mother Russia in order to build, not only its railways, industrial centres and power plants; but also battleships, airships, tanks and other machines of war in great numbers. The vast New Admiralty Shipyard in Saint Petersburg stretches for almost a mile along the banks of the River Neva, and the forges and factories are constantly producing vessels of all classes. The newer yard located on Vasilyevsky Island, at the mouth of the Neva is almost as industrious, but this newer facility is focused on the most modern of the Commonwealth’s designs. Less than 20 miles west of Saint Petersburg is the Kronstadt Naval Plant. Further south, on the Black Sea sits Sevastopol, a city founded for the sole purpose of building ships for the Commonwealth.

All of these industrial centres, along with a myriad of smaller ones, are able to produce significant numbers of warships every year. This is how the might of the Commonwealth has been growing so rapidly of late. The ships of the Commonwealth are constructed of thick hulls and heavy armour, while advanced engines ensure they are still able to keep pace with ships of other nations. Commonwealth naval engineers specialise in the latest ablative armour, and have retro-fitted it to almost all of their legacy fleet.

Though the Commonwealth places less emphasis on air support than the other Great Powers, they still appreciate its uses in achieving victory. The Mozhayski Fleet Carriers are integral to this combined arms doctrine and the expansive internal spaces for officers make them preferred command ships for Commodores. Typically accompanying these large carriers are support squadrons of cruisers and Stoletov Ekranoplans. The Pravda Support Carriers are equipped with short flight decks and limited aircraft capacity compared to the Mozhayski, but can launch a supporting screen of fighters or bombers to assist in attack runs. The Morosko Heavy Cryo Cruiser builds on the Norilsk hull design with the integration of an advanced cryo generator capable of forming deadly icebergs in their enemy’s path. The Khatanga Cryo Assault Cruiser is favoured by northern commanders as it takes this art of war one stage further with addition of the ferocious Semyenov pattern assault bore in the prow.

    The Mozhayski Battlefleet Set builds five multi-part plastic and resin miniatures and 4 Tokens;

    • 1x Mozhayski Class Fleet Carrier
    • 2x Khatanga Class Cruisers
    • Each Cruiser can alternatively be built as either a Morosko or Pravda Class
    • 2x Stoletov Class Ekranoplan
    • 4x SRS Tokens

Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.

  • Slumbering Tyrants are awakening and grasping at power as the residents of Malifaux - Human, Neverborn, and Gremlin alike - stand in stubborn defiance against them. With streamlined rules and an intuitive new hiring system, there's never been a better time to cross through the Breach and into the world of Malifaux!

Malifaux 3rd edition is the newest version of Malifaux by Wyrd Miniatures, it has been developed to streamline the rules and enhance player enjoyability. Here are a few of the newest improvements.

    Hiring

Models are now hired based on their Keyword, which encourages more thematic Crews while allowing for abilities that more closely tie models together. Ever wanted to run two (or more) Masters together on the tabletop? Now you can!

    Conditions & Tokens

The number of Conditions in M2E has been reduced down to 11 single Conditions. As well, several Masters and Crews that once relied on conditions to function now use Tokens that serve as counters for their various abilities, whether they be deadly plagues or a crippling addiction to the raw essence of the Hungering Darkness.

    New Masters

Nekima has reclaimed her birthright! Standing alongside her is Euripides, a prophetic giant who has followed the omens from his frozen mountain home into the lowlands. The Guild has responded by promoting the brutal Captain Dashel, elevating him to the position of Master... and providing him further assistance in the form of Cornelius Basse. These heroes must also contend with the recruiting efforts of the ghoulish University of Transmortis and its macabre headmaster, Professor Albus Von Schtook, and the subtle machinations of Youko Hamasaki, the cunning proprietor of the Qi and Gong, a mysterious brothel nestled at the heart of the Little Kingdom.

  • King Pandinus only awakens once every 5000 years. He stays awake at all times until someone defeats him in a RUMBLESLAM match. So far he's been awake for... oh, he's undefeated? I bet he's really hoping for a nap!

King Pandinus is big and part scorpion. Do you really need to know more? Well he's the king of the underworld, and so held in pretty high esteem in Diamond Oasis casino, where he gets pretty much free reign. Including free drinks - nice!

If you're after a Superstar with massive damage potential and great crowd control (I mean, lots of enemy wrestlers rather than the actual crowd), then King Pandinus is your scorpion! His Giant Stinger attack causes Dazed, and if you get a Crowd Pleaser your opponent has to roll 2 dice and suffers -2AP and -2MP if they fail their roll! Add to that Bleeding on all Brawl attacks, and a Turnbuckle Ability that hits everyone in base contact and also Shoves them away and you have a recipe for a killer Superstar. Seriously, he's one of the best in the game.

Contains 1 resin miniature, 1 character card, and 1 clear acrylic base. Acrylic bases will have coloured film on that needs removing before assembly.

Resin miniature supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled.

  • In Diamond Oasis, there is no end to the fight - even in death these corpses still wrestle! Whether it’s the shambling Shabti or their Withered Master, they are always up for a scrap. Anubti Doorkeepers are powerhouses of undead energy, while the Yeetle calls up the sun itself to hurl at the other team!

The Pyramid Piledrivers are slowly entering the ring! Unless the Withered Master instructs them to get a move on that is. What looks like a perfectly normal team actually plays a little weirdly. They take a fine tuned approach and heavily reward carefully thought out plays.

The WEIGHT 1 category is taken up by two Shabti. Entirely identical in stats since they're reanimated corpses who can't really do anything on their own. The good news is that Shabti are the cheapest wrestlers in the game at 100K each. The bad news is that other than a move that does -1MP, they're slow and basically useless.

That's where the Withered Master comes in. A solid performer in her own right, she works best when commanding others. Able to move the Shabti on her own, and perform her Grapple and Rope abilities through every other wrestler in the team, she can do some serious damage while staying in the comfort of her own corner. Master the Master and you'll be well on your way to victory.

The heavy hitters in the team come in the form of the Anubti Doorkeeper and the massive Yeetle. While the Shabti are some of the worst rookies in the game, the Anubti Doorkeeper is arguably the best. With stats that rival a Superstar, she is going to be feared by your opponents as much as she's loved by you! Meanwhile the Yeetle has an extremely tough outer shell and can literally throw the sun at your enemies!

Contains 5 resin miniatures with 5 clear acrylic bases, and 5 character cards. Acrylic bases will have coloured film on that needs removing before assembly.

  • Queen of the underworld, Cleo is royalty like no other! She's here to wrestle, and she's brought an entire army with her! Do you dare to tustle with the trouble from under the world?

Queen Cleo is indeed a real queen. Her husband is King Pandinus. Yes, the giant scorpion guy. No, don't ask us how that works. Although Cleo is the one with all the control. Control over an army of undead souls that mindlessly follow her around, worshipping the ground she walks on - literally!

In the ring Cleo is a well balanced wrestler. Her damage output can be colossal - check out that ATTACK stat. Do a Rope Attack and she's rolling 2S 2C+1! However, that would be ignoring one of her signature moves, which is the use of Underworld Counters. These handy little tokens are included in this set, and stop anyone moving through the square they're placed in as hands claw up from the underworld. If your opponents get too close to them, you can use A Billion Souls to drag them down with Knockdown counters. Cleo really does have an answer for everything, the only tricky thing will be deciding which moves to use each round!

Contains 1 resin miniature, 1 character card, 1 clear acrylic base, and a sheet of 8 skull-shaped Underworld Counters. Acrylic bases will have coloured film on that needs removing before assembly.

Resin miniature supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled.

Although entirely unarmed, that's not what you're taking a Breaching Drill. Able to transport 18 wheels worth of units (that's 18 Technicals if you want!) and put them anywhere on the board, that's why you're taking a Breaching Drill. • Wagons are usually armed with conventional rapid fire cannons mounted for the anti-air role which offer reasonable rate of fire, acceptable range and excellent reliability. However, they can also be armed with a fearsome Flamethrower, allowing the crazed drivers to torch enemy infantry while laughing maniacally.

AA Gun Wagons are a Standard choice with an AA weapon. Need more than that? You can put them in Hovercraft and big 209 Breaching Drills? They're great, you're not even reading this anymore. Flame Wagons are also great! An unusual Exotic choice, they're brilliant for supporting your Frontline Battlegroups by torching the inhabitants of a Garrison before your own Infantry jump in and mop up the stragglers.

Attack ATVs form a strange role in a Resistance army. Infantry that can't enter Garrisons, but move crazy fast! Armed with Grenade Launchers, they have a choice of Assault Grenades or Incendiary Grenades each round. One is good against light vehicles, and the other can deal with entrenched infantry, clearing the way for your troops to swoop in and steal the Objectives away!

  • Berserkers are a ragtag collection of the most crazed, psychotic, homicidal maniacs present in the armies of the most savage of Resistance warlords. Often, they go to war in a drug crazed red haze, intent on nothing but the glorious release of murderous gluttony.

Well, what do you expect from a unit called "Berserkers"? These weirdos are the most elite of the Resistance's assault troops. Although "elite" might not be the right word, since they're not exactly easy to control. Armed with only Vicious Tools, they'll tear right through light infantry in combat, and are very good at dealing with heavy infantry too. Just don't ask them to find any Objectives - they aren't great at that.

  • Although less well armoured than Warstriders of equivalent size, the Caiman's agility and range can be used to deadly effect by the more subtle of Shaltari Warchiefs, who prefer to annihilate the enemy before having to accept return fire.

A Caiman Heavy Gravtank is the answer to "what if Tomahawk, but bigger?". Armed with either a Gauss Triad or Heavy Microwave Cannon, the Caiman follows the Shaltari adage of "be prepared for literally everything". The Gauss Triad packs the power of 3 Tomahawks, while the Heavy Microwave Cannon ignores all Body and Soft Cover when finding its targets, offering little in the way of defence.

  • While originally a fairly rare sight on the battlefield, the Crocodile has become much more common since the Battle For Earth. The Heavy Gravtank chassis also is home to the much stranger Alligator Gravcharger, which - through some unknown technology - is able to overcharge nearby anti-grav vehicles to even faster speeds, allowing the Shaltari to always dictate the direction of battle.

The Crocodile doesn't care who you are or what vehicle you're in: it is going to kill you. Its Particle Cannon ignores all Evasion and Passive Countermeasures, meaning there's very little you can do to protect yourself. Just hope for good luck or you'll be a crater. The kit can also be used to build an Alligator Gravcharger. Although completely unarmed, this support unit increases the Move speed and Move & Fire distance of friendly units in a wide area, giving you even more options for annoying your opponents.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to make either a Crocodile Heavy Gravtank or an Alligator Heavy Gravcharger.

Fitted with either Chainguns for light armour or Tornado and Beowulf Missiles for dealing with heavier armour, the Cyclone always makes an impact whenever the leadership deems the situation serious enough to commit them to battle.

They're cool looking helicopters armed to the teeth. What more do you want? With Chainguns you'll be able to rip through a surprisingly large amount of targets (Focus helps to rack up the Energy of the guns). Alternatively give your Cyclones Tornado Missiles and Beowulf Missiles. You get unlimited Indirect Area attacks and 4 powerful Beowulf Missiles to mess with heavy armour. Demolishers are some of the hardest Troops in the game. Although they only come in squads of 2 (six infantry total!), they don't need much more. Tough, Resilient, 4+ Passive Countermeasures, and Armour 9, they are extremely difficult to deal with. Armed with anti-armour Plasma Chargers they can dish out some game-changing damage. Their short ranged Shard Cannons are excellent at clearing out elite enemy squads from Garrisons too, making them extremely versatile core infantry.
