• Freeriders form the backbone of almost any Resistance recon patrol and utilise extremely fast bikes to zip around battlefields and explore behind enemy lines.

Zoooooom! They're fast, they can come out of a drill, and they're armed with Sticky Mines. Why wouldn't you want Freeriders in your army? Their Machine Guns aren't the best weapon in the game, and they're probably better off staying outside of Garrisons too. But if you speed past an enemy unit, you get to stick a Sticky Mine on them, dealing automatic Energy 9 hits! Zoom and boom!

Contains 12 single-piece resin miniatures with 4 plastic bases to make 4 units.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • The Gaia represents one of the crowning achievements of Shaltari teleport gate technology. An intricate yet vast marvel of stunning complexity, It is the largest of its kind yet encountered on the battlefields of the 27th century.

What can we say about the Gaia? Do you want to deploy and then reposition your forces at a moment's notice? Do you want to do that with the most transport capacity available? Well look no further! Shaltari Gates are typically unarmed (other than a Reaction Fire with Charged Air), so the Gaia does one thing and it does it well: teleporting hedgehogs.

  • The M9 Hannibal had been the main battle tank of the prewar armies of humanity for over a quarter of a century before the Scourge invasion. Armed with either a 120mm Punisher Cannon or a HI-EX Hammer Cannon, one is a versatile battle tank, while the other is a deadly siege engine.

The Hannibal is a favourite in Resistance armies, and it's easy to see why. It's touch as nails with 15 Armour and 2 Damage Points, and has a lot of firepower too. A 90mm Cannon can damage any vehicle, and that firepower is doubled (with extra Energy) thanks to the standard 120mm Punisher Cannon. A tank-hunter with few equals! Alternatively arm the Hannibal with a HI-EX Hammer Cannon and see scenery explode thanks to Devastator-4. Although it's dangerously short-ranged, who cares when all that's left is a pile of rubble?

Contains 2 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to arm all with either 120mm Punisher Cannons or HI-EX Hammer Cannons.

  • Often seen as the pinnacle of PHR walker technology, the Hera has long been seen on the battlefield, often housing the most prominent commanders. With its thrusters it is able to redeploy rapidly, better able to dictate the flow of battle. It's unknown how, but while UCM intelligence has recognised the command role Heras often play, destroying one seems to have little to no effect on the command structure of the army.

The Command Walker for the PHR really! Heras are solid units on their own, able to move quickly when needed, to get that all-important Command Radius into the right place. A pair of Heras comes with the added ability that they only need one to be upgraded to a Commander; their Neural Uplink Network making sure that Commander lasts all game.

  • The Intruder is the smallest and fastest of all Scourge dropships and is designed to ferry a range of lighter cargo to the battlefield. It is armed with the same deadly plasma hose as the Marauder, making a large group of Intruders a particularly dangerous foe.

As far as transporting elite units goes, the Intruder is one of the best around. Extremely fast, and surprisingly well-armed, it's a must in most Scourge armies. This set allows you to make either the Intruder Light Troopship or the Intruder Light Dropship, using optional parts. The Troopship ferries infantry around (it's great for Eviscerators), while the Dropship carries smaller Drone walkers and even the Despot Suppression Walker.

Contains 2 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to make all as either Intruder Light Troopships or Intruder Light Dropships.

  • The Janus is one of the smallest PHR walkers encountered, focusing on forward observation, recognisance and urban patrol. While much less resilient than its larger cousins, it is considerably faster and far more nimble. Armed with Stealth Missile Batteries, they are still a formidable threat. Hermes Disruption Walkers have also been encountered. These walkers forgo direct firepower for a disrupting sonic hum which vibrates at deliberate frequencies to cause extreme discomfort to nearby infantry. UCM Legionnaires have reported effects from nosebleeds to crippling migraines and dizziness all the way to ruptured blood vessels and even death when exposed for too long.

With the Scout Walkers you have two options: cheap and surprisingly effective anti-light armour, or super annoying. The Janus comes complete with a Stealth Missile Battery, which provides decent Penetrative firepower. The Janus' main goal is to provide line of sight for Indirect fire weapons, and it's cheap enough to make that worthwhile. Meanwhile the Hermes has very little direct damage (just a Minigun), but its Sonic Disruptor makes it all but impossible for nearby infantry to search for Objectives. Use them carefully and you'll be able to completely avoid one part of the board for the first few turns as your opponent scrambles to deal with these little walkers.

Contains 4 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to make all as either Janus Scout Walkers or Hermes Disruption Walkers.

  • The Lynx Chiefstrider is a command variant of the Warstrider chassis immediately identifiable by its colourful crest. Shaltari commanders are warlike beyond reproach and although drawing attention to the presence of a leader is often deadly, the Shaltari's martial honour precludes such tactics, displaying their arrival proudly.

The Lynx Chiefstrider is what you'd want to march to war into. It's seriously pimped out. It has a dazzling hat that will attract the attention of any suitor, although will also help through bizarre magic-science to predict and direct the flow of battle. The Lynx also has a groovy VIP lounge on its back, although in-game the Command Module is best used to escape danger for your Commander - rocketing away to help keep them alive until the game ends.

While the Ares Walker and the Phobos Walker both have very specific roles (anti-tank and anti-air respectively), the Menchit takes a combined arms approach. Able to be equipped in four different configurations, you can use this walker to fill the gaps in your army. Anti-infantry? Flamethrower and Triple Minigun. Anti-armour? Styx Autocannon. Anti-scenery? Foeslayer Missiles. Or a mixture of them all!

  • The Minder is a tiny aerial craft, although it is still exceedingly hazardous to approach. Armed with a small version of the deadly Arc Caster, the Minder exists solely to cover invasion armadas from air attack. When the Scourge host of a Minder grows old, it starts to crave violence. Usually these Drones are refitted with Shard Cannons, and nicknamed Emeritus Drones. While the Shard Cannons can be potent against infantry in the open, their true strength lies in their final act - destroying themselves in a fiery blast, taking everyone nearby with them.

Both Minders and Emertius Drones are Scout choices for the Scourge, helping extend Command range and also providing firing lines for their (albeit quite rare) Indirect weapons. Minders are best suited for intercepting enemy aircraft, using their short-ranged Micro Arc Casters to bring down Dropships. Meanwhile the Emeritus Incendiary Drones are all about getting close very quickly to use their devastating Self-Destruct to remove most things in a large radius!

Contains 8 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to build all as either Minder AA Drones or Emeritus Incendiary Drones.

Unaffected by Countermeasures, you can safely stow these away behind something and send in some Wolverines for line of sight. Perfect at killing Infantry in the open or even vehicles with their Mortar Rounds, you could also push enemy Infantry back to the centre of a Garrison with their Concussion Rounds - super annoying and useful!

  • Oppressors are most often seen with large numbers of Prowlers, Stalkers and Ravagers, but unlike many command units are frequently on the sharp edge of any attack where they can do the most damage. Aided by Subjugators, these strange walkers will slow all enemies to a crawl, allowing the Scourge to overwhelm their positions.

Ever wanted to command your armies with a giant enemy crab? Oh, and this thing doesn't have a weakpoint that opponents can strike for massive damage! All it has is super thick armour, loads of Damage Points, an Electroweb Caster (for killing heavy tanks), Plasma Carbines (for killing everything else), and Razorclaws for getting close and personal. Did I say "all" it has? That's a lot! Also you can put your Commander in there! And if that wasn't enough, you can also make an alternate, the Subjugator. While lightly armed, the Subjugation Field reduces the number of actions close-by enemies can take, and even stops them using Scan Tokens. Take that, Shaltari - who's doing the shenanigans now?!

These skittering little nightmares are a must for most Scourge players. Small enough to enter Garrisons, but tough enough to survive most light arms, these little blighters will be a nightmare to deal with. Prowlers are armed with Plasma Injecting Proboscises (probosci?) that can destroy even the toughest tanks (especially when swarmed with 8 of them). Alternatively you can build your spiders as the Raptor variant. Armed with an Acid Spout they can hit enemy infantry when outside of a Garrison, or get in close and melt even the toughest armour.

Corruptor Hiveships are first on the target list for any UCM Infantry force Commander since they carry a violent cargo of Razorworm pods that spells certain destruction to any garrisoned units.

With a decent statline, the Reaver and Corruptor are solid choices in any Scourge list. Fast and deadly at close range, they will get the job done. The Reaver's job is blasting apart tanks with a decent range for Scourge! Corruptor Hiveships are a bit weirder. Their primary mode of attack is launching units of Razorworms into Garrisons. From there the Razorworms can cause havoc, not even needing to re-roll their Damage that round!

While the workhorse of most factions is a heavily armoured tank, the Resistance like to do things differently. These ramshackle vehicles are weak on their own, but in massive units they can combine fire to bring down things much bigger in size. Rocket Technicals are a solid Standard choice in a Resistance army, able to Focus their rockets together to take down hardened armour. Alternatively you can build them as AA Gun Technicals, which are decent Scout choices with a fairly middling Heavy AA Machine Gun. An extremely versatile - if a little weird - unit, Sappers have multiple purposes in-game. Trigger Demo IEDs can bring down a scenery piece in a couple of blasts, or wreck heavy armour if needed. Sappers can also lace a Garrison they enter with Cluster IEDs, causing massive damage to any enemy unit foolish enough to enter. Although they may bring it down on themselves by mistake!

  • The Annihilator and Obliterator are towering artillery walkers of titanic proportions. An unusual vehicle in that it can transition to flight mode, thus dispensing with the need for a dropship, the Annihilator and Obliterator are rightly feared by ground forces, as they have a longer range than almost anything else in the Scourge armoury.

Well now, that thing is massive, eh? The Annihilator has long been a mainstay in a Scourge army, and that's because it's big and is one of the only Scourge weapons with Indirect! Not that it's particularly weak, so doesn't need to hide much anyway. You can even upgrade the Annihilator with an Ancient Bond (represented by the head-plate in the kit), giving it Commander Centre. The Obliterator is an alternative build of this giant, trading indirect weapons for an unlimited range laser that has Destroyer and Devastator-3 for both Vehicles and Behemoths!

Its only weapon is the unusual Standoff Energy Beam - primarily a directed energy laser, it deals real damage with physical, concussive charges. The Slaughterer instead packs an underslung Plasma Howitzer - this fires in a direct arc though and delivers enough energy to blow a leg off a behemoth.

The Savager is an excellent long ranged Aircraft. It excels at singling out a single foe from across the battlefield with its Destroyer 6+ Standoff Energy Beam; If one of the three shots activates the Destroyer rule it will automaticly apply to all shots. Alternatively the Slaughterer Ordnance Barge is a short ranged area of effect Aircraft with Devastator 4 against Behemoths and Vehicles meaning it will make light work of all vehicles if given the opportunity.
