Dystopian Wars: Commonwealth Starter Set [2026]

Calamity, revolution and civil war have forged the Commonwealth into the stoic yet noble confederation it is today. A triumvirate of Russia, Poland-Lithuania, and Mongolia, these boisterous nations are united in their fealty to Tsar Vladimir Rurik-Novy, ready to repel all challengers and spread its liberating ethos beyond its borders. Upon the high seas, this task falls to the White Navy, whose sturdy, reliable craft can absorb an impossible amount of punishment, every minute they remain afloat being another minute in which their guns lay waste to the enemy.

The Commonwealth Starter Set contains everything a new Admiral might need to serve the Commonwealth. Even veterans of the high seas will find this box set a worthwhile addition to their collections. The Arkhangel Command Cruiser serves as the beating heart of the White Navy, its sophisticated coordination systems allowing it to marshal Commonwealth battlefleets with ease. Highly versatile Norilsk Heavy Cruisers, meanwhile, add heft and firepower to any White Navy fleet. Their sturdy frames serve as excellent platforms for mounting such devices as the dreaded Semyenov Assault Bore and the Cryo Generator, which can freeze enemy vessels and even the very sea itself.

Kutsov Cruisers, the workhorses of the Commonwealth, can be deployed in seemingly inexhaustible numbers. Their ablative armour, a hallmark of Commonwealth ship design, makes them extremely durable for a ship of the line, and they will invariably outlast enemy vessels of comparable class. Oleg Monitors are ideal for shallow water operations whilst Sineus Fast Cruisers, sleek and highly manoeuvrable, serve a vital role as scouts. Despite their small size, Rurik Frigates should not be underestimated. Their compact forms are tough, like all Commonwealth vessels, especially when paired with larger warships. Should the White Navy need to go on the offensive, the Boyar Heavy Frigate can be relied upon to fill the air with deadly rockets.

Dystopian Wars is a naval tabletop wargame that uses highly detailed miniatures to represent huge engines of destruction on, above, and below the high seas. Set in the Dystopian Age, an alternate late-nineteenth-century world, the Great Powers of the globe use super science and alien engineering as they clash for supremacy. Mighty battleships rule the seas while predatory submarines lurk beneath the waves. Monstrous automata and colossal mechanical knights duel while fighters and bombers crisscross the burning skies between aerial fortresses and dirigibles. In Dystopian Wars, all of this combines for an intense, tactical experience.
