Dystopian Wars: Union Starter Set [2026]

The release date for the product is an estimate, as there are often delays for Warcradle products when they are imported into the US.

Since The Ore War, a devastating civil conflict that almost tore their nation apart, the Union has emerged onto the world stage as a heavily industrialised mass manufacturer of weapons and engines of war. Paired with a self-proclaimed “manifest destiny”, this youthful and ambitious Great Power now looks beyond its borders, shifting its focus to the development and construction of ever more powerful ships to bring liberty to the world at any cost.

This starter set is an excellent place for an Admiral who wants to take command of Union forces for the first time, or one who wants to expand an existing collection. The Senator Command Battlecruiser provides a powerful central point of command, capable of hitting hard as well as being able to withstand a substantial amount of damage, while its versatile hull can be built in numerous configurations. These behemoths are supported by stalwart cruisers: the dependable Yorktown, the heavy hitting Lexington, the fast Intrepid, and the Reliant, perfect for littoral operations. Meanwhile, Farragut Frigates and Defiant Destroyers are capable of being attached to larger ships or operating on their own, hunting down larger vessels with their superior numbers. Similarly, the newly introduced Princeton Corvette is a versatile ship, well-suited to escorting other ships and conducting its own attacks in large swarms. Beneath the waves, Puritan Submarines stalk the enemy fleet by laying mines to slow their advance or by ambushing them with deadly torpedo attacks.

Dystopian Wars is a naval tabletop wargame that uses highly detailed miniatures to represent huge engines of destruction on, above, and below the high seas. Set in the Dystopian Age, an alternate late-nineteenth century of our own world, the Great Powers of the globe use super science and alien engineering as they clash over resources and power. Battleships and cruisers sail the surface of the sea while sky fortresses and dirigibles soar in the sky above. Submarines lurk beneath the waves alongside squid automata and colossal mechanical knights. Fighters and bombers circle, waiting to dive upon their prey. All of this combines for an intense, tactical experience.
