Madison Area Halloween Steamroller

Community Organized Event

Come join the Madison Area Warmachine group for a Halloween Steamroller event and painting competition! This is a standard Steamroller event using current 100-point army composition rules. Painting isn't required to play, but is strongly encouraged.

Schedule + Scenarios:

Round 1 (11:30) - Payload

Lunch Break (1:30)

Round 2 (2:30) - Trench Warfare

Round 3 (4:30) - Pressure Point

Prizes (6:30)

In addition to the Steamroller games, we will also be holding a painting competition. This time around, the category will be "Best Painted Battlegroup". A battlegroup must include at least 1 caster and at least 1 cohort. A battlegroup should contain no more than 5 models, with each model needing to be a unique named model (different profiles of the same cohort model do not count). The battlegroup submitted must either be from the army you are playing, or be a true mercenary battlegroup, but it does not have to be a part of your list.

Prizing will be determined based on attendance. Expected prize distribution:

1st and 2nd place: Store Credit Prize

3rd place: Store Credit or promotional prize (tbd)

Best Painted Battlegroup: Store Credit Prize + Promotional Prize

Best Halloween Costume: Promotional Prize

Additional prizes may be raffled off to those not winning at least one of the other prizes to try and make sure everyone gets something for coming out and playing.
